Enramycin is a potent polypeptide antibiotic growth promoter (AGP) produced by fermentation of Streptomyces species, and is relied upon worldwide to protect chicken flocks. ENRA VET+ provides targeted protection by preventing and controlling necrotic enteritis caused by Gram-positive gut pathogens such as Clostridium perfringens. Its poor absorption in the intestinal tract minimizes concerns with tissue residues in human food. The product also offers high thermal stability, making it naturally resistant to high temperatures and providing stability during modern feed pelleting processes. Bacterial resistance develops very slowly, with no cross-resistance between enramycin and other conventional antibiotics. It also provides broad-spectrum antibacterial activity that significantly improves overall feed efficiency.
Recommended Dosage & Application
For prophylactic or continuous use, add 100–200 g/MT of feed to improve feed efficiency continuously. During an infection, add 300 g/MT to complete feed for 5–7 days until symptoms disappear, then change to a prophylactic dose of 100–200 g/MT for 15 days until conditions have completely stabilized.
